Pixiu, one of the five legendary auspicious beasts alongside the dragon, phoenix, turtle, and qilin, is known in Chinese mythology as the dragon king’s son. It feeds on gold, silver, and jewels—and once it swallows wealth, it never lets it out. That’s why it’s long seen as a symbol of wealth and good fortune.
Inspired by this, the designer incorporated coin motifs at the hem to wish Hanfu girls prosperity and abundance. The robe is made from richly textured vermilion jacquard fabric, woven with two-tone gold threads for a raised, luxurious look.
